Moray Firth Credit Union is a not-for-profit community bank owned by its members and managed for their mutual benefit. We provide a safe home for savings with access to affordable low cost loans. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Moray or Nairn.
Members’ loans are covered by our unique FREE life insurance at no additional cost and all savings are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
Being a member also means you are a shareholder in the company and may be due a dividend from the profits made at the end of each year which cannot be guaranteed.

Our History
After humble beginnings in a small room in Forres House Community Centre, then 10 years in 138 High Street Forres we relocated to larger premises at 53 High Street Forres in August 2017.
We relaunched as Moray Firth Credit Union Ltd and the boundary was extended to accept membership from people who live or work within that area after enquiries over a period of years.
